With the vulnerability of persons in care, be it the infirm, elderly or persons requiring supported living the fire evacuation procedures are paramount. We need to be prepared for any eventuality to get everyone out safely when it comes to evacuating Assisted Living Facilities and\/or Nursing Homes.<\/strong><\/p>

With the current unpredictable climate of terrorism and violence, along with fire and weather emergencies, effective emergency evacuation plans are vital. Extra precautions and considerations need to be taken into account to accommodate the individual needs of patrons or residents with physical disabilities, those with sensory disabilities, and those who may lack understanding of a situation or be able to act quickly. Personnel and visitors with disabilities also need protection.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Staff and visitors with disabilities can also be at risk.
